I’m Jackie. I’m a average dude from Copenhagen, Denmark who try’s to help a lot of people learn every day. I consider myself very lucky to have learned about programming.
I didn’t have any programming in school, I don’t know a programmer, and I’m not a super genius. What I do have is a willingness to learn, a loving wife, two amazing children, a great family, awesome friends, and a line of work that allows me to up my productivity with scripting/programming.
MY STORY
I have a 9 to 5 job, which I really enjoy. I am working as a technical designer / data-assistant at a company that does the citywide lighting management in Copenhagen and loving it. I had no plans about learning programming, but fortunately there are some things you cannot control.
Getting my current job was great. One day in 2015 I decided to send out my resume on a data-assistant job opening although I was unsure if a technical designer was fit for the job, for whatever reason the next day I heard back from them. Instead of feeling unsure about it, I immediately decided to call them back and now I work as a data-assistant.
It turns out that getting this job was one of the best things that ever happened to me. My last 9 to 5 job pushed me to learn programming, I’ve since been able use that in my current job to get more done with less work (less repetitive work) – which in the end allows me to be flexible and spend more time helping and interacting with people.
SO WHY JSZAPP SITE?
With this site, I want to be as helpful as possible with everything I know. My ideas, my strategies and my issues – it’s all out there for you to see. I’m not trying to show off my genius – that’s definitely not my purpose. If you’re already trying to learn, I hope that my experiences – both my wins and my failures – can help you reach your goals.
If you’re not learning programming/scripting but thinking about it, you can see what it’s like, see what’s involved and make decisions on your own without having to buy anything or pay someone and be subjected to the possibility of false claims and wasted money.

And finally, please read this carefully:
I don’t consider myself a programming guru, my techniques are not secrets and the kinds of things I teach are not “be the best quick” schemes – far from it actually.
This is why you won’t see me offer any paid quick tricks – not because I don’t want to help, but because honestly most of the information I could give you can be found for free here on my blog or elsewhere online. If you need some help figuring stuff out, just use my contact form ( or find it in the menu) to send me an email and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Learning any type of programming offline or online takes a lot of hard work, a lot of patience and a bit of learning desire, although I honestly believe we can all learn.
I hope, I have an inspiring story and I am here to inspire you too, however I want to do it the right way. I speak only from my experience and please don’t feel like you owe me anything because of it. This is my way of paying forward the amazing things that I have learned.
You won’t get any hard “need to read” book sales from me, long programming philosophical or fluffed up stuff – just easy to follow real life cases and recommendations based on my own experience with programming and learning.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to see you on the site sometime soon!
Cheers!
